The Guest Speaker is Harvey Ruvin, Clerk of the Courts, Miami-Dade County since 1992. He will be speaking on "Documents and the Internet - Availability vs Privacy." Harvey Ruvin received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami Law School in 1962 after graduating as an Industrial Engineer at the University of Florida. He has pioneered the availability of public documents on the Internet. As a result, Miami-Dade provides one of the best Internet document searches for county records in the US.
