Ponce Business Lunch
The weekly guest speaker for the Ponce Business Association will be Pedro Garcia, candidate for Miami-Dade County elected Property Appraiser. He will speak on: "It Takes Experience." For over 30 years Mr. Garcia has been the President/Owner of Exclusive Realty Corp., a company dedicated to property appraisals. You might have met him if you protested your property's tax value by filing a petition. He has been an appointed Appraiser Special Magistrate for Miami-Dade's Value Adjustment Board for ten years. As a Magistrate, he takes value evidence from the County Property Appraiser and then from the property owner or their representative, and either recommends for or against a change in assessed value for taxation. The Ponce Business Association meets every Monday (except holidays) for lunch at JohnMartin's Restaurant, 253 Miracle Mile, at noon. Lunch is $20 for members and $22 for guests.
